WWE Diva Kaitlyn engaged

Braun, now the president of Prime Nutrition and Blackstone Labs, first noticed Kaitlyn when they was competing on the bodybuilding stage years ago. It was the flower they wore in her hair in the work of her competitions that immediately caught his eye, sticking in his memory when they were formally introduced to another through a mutual mate. Familiarity blossomed in to friendship as the pair became better acquainted by text message, phone calls and FaceTime.

Former Divas Champion Kaitlyn is engaged to fella PJ Braun, who popped the query after Tuesday nightâs SmackDown taping at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut.

We always joked that they would probably finish up together someday,â Kaitlyn told WWE.com, remarking that busy schedules & personal lives never afforded them the chance to take things to the next level. âWe didnât start dating until this summer, which is comic because they lives in Florida & I was living in Florida for years. I finally moved back home to Houston, & they started dating soon after that. They lived a few hours from each other for years!â

Although Braun ended up asking Kaitlyn for her hand in marriage on Tuesday night at Mohegan Sun, that wasnât his original strategy.

WWE Champion Randy Orton def. Big Show At Survivor Series 2013

WWE Champion Randy Orton retained his title against Big Show at Survivor Series in a manner that has become standard for the manipulative Authority. But The Viper wasn’t the only champion standing in the ring at the end of the night.

Making a massive statement without speaking a word, World Heavyweight Champion John Cena interrupted Orton’s victory celebration and faced off with his greatest rival in the center of the ring.

t was an unpredictable ending to a match that was defined by unexpected moments. Earlier in the evening, WWE COO Triple H had announced that there would be no physical interference in any of the night’s bouts. That was troubling news for a WWE Champion who has relied heavily on the influence of The Authority to keep him in the title picture. A week after he had uttered the words, “I probably can’t beat Big Show by myself,” Orton was all alone against a true giant.

'Total Divas' episode 11 recap: Bad medicine

Eva Marie gets another chance for a big break, but violates the 11th Commandment – #DontHinderJinder – when she completely forgets Jinder Mahal's name during a guest stint as a ring announcer. Jinder is, obviously, somewhat peeved by all this, though Heath Slater is a bit more conciliatory. Despite claiming a moral victory in that she didn't try to cheat her way out of this mess, Eva's brain fart lands her in the doghouse (again) with WWE execs, who are rapidly running out of options as to what to do with her.

There's a fungus among us, and it has taken up residence in the big toe of Jimmy Uso. It's actually pretty gnarly – the poor guy's foot makes him look like Patient Zero of the zombie apocalypse – yet he only goes to a doctor after it gets bad enough to trip him up during a match. The doc cleans him up in a flash, but it turns out that Naomi (Trinity) has caught whatever creeping crud has infested Jimmy's foot, and they end the episode with His and Hers topical ointments to clear up the gunk. Adorable.

Over in Bella-land, Daniel Bryan's doing pretty well as WWE’s de facto "top guy" in John Cena's absence, but the increased demand on his time is starting to put a wee bit of pressure on his relationship with Brie Bella. Meanwhile,Nikki is attempting to nurse the ailing Cena back to health after his surgery – complete with nurse's outfit – while also undergoing the process of moving her stuff into his place.

Proving that timing is everything, Cena picks this exact moment to spring a "cohabitation agreement" on Nikki that basically gives him the legal right to evict her from the premises if the relationship goes belly-up. It’s a necessary evil, one he fully realizes he may not have handled all that well. Worse, his “just in case” protestations are lost on Nikki, who’s somewhat upset by this turn of events – and by "somewhat" we mean she storms out of The Champ's abode, absconds with a Maserati and hits the road like Stallone in "Rocky IV" to work through her emotions. Sometimes there really is no easy way out.

WWE exclusive interview: Mickie James

Former Divas Champion Mickie James made waves across the sports-entertainment world when she dropped by the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla., sparking rumors of a possible return to WWE. WWE.com caught up with the five-time Women’s Champion to get the story behind her trip to the Sunshine State, what she’s been up to lately and whether the WWE Universe can really expect to see her again anytime soon.

WWE.COM: Can you tell us what you were doing at the WWE Performance Center? How did that visit come about?

MICKIE JAMES: I got a call from Talent Relations, and they asked if I would be interested in coming down, checking it out and working with some of the girls here. Of course, I jumped all over it; I was happy to do it. The place is amazing, it really is mind-blowing. We had all prayed for something like this [when we were] breaking in.

WWE.COM: Where did you train?

MICKIE: Gosh, I started at a small school in Virginia and I learned how to wrestle – at least take falls – in a boxing ring. Crappy rings and garages … kind of old-school, you know what I mean? So to come in and step in somewhere like this, which is a palace compared to the places I trained at, is just amazing.

WWE.COM: Were there any Divas at the WWE Performance Center that stood out to you?

MICKIE: Oh yeah, absolutely. Obviously, I see so much with Paige; she’s awesome, I think she’s really great. And there are a few of the younger girls. Lexi has tons of personality and tons of potential. Mercedes and Emma are really good. Shaul Guerrero, too; I don't know if it's just because it’s in her blood, but she's a natural. Her footwork, her movements, and her personality are through the roof. Each of them has their strengths and you can see their personalities coming out more and more. That’s what I’ve really been trying to focus on with them too.

WWE.COM: So you’re not just teaching them in-ring work?

MICKIE: Mostly being vocal in the ring and being vocal while they’re working instead of just thinking about what their moves are and what they need to do in there. Actually being who they are.

Sheamus, Mark Henry, Rey Mysterio and more rock the WrestleMania XXX On-Sale Party

NEW ORLEANS — It was a rainy night in The Crescent City, but a little downpour couldn’t keep Rey Mysterio, the New Orleans Saints dance team, “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry, New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and thousands of members of the WWE Universe away from the WrestleMania XXX On-Sale Party.

Officially kicking off WWE’s march towards the biggest night on the sports-entertainment calendar, the bash celebrated the release of tickets for April 6, 2014’s WrestleMania XXX. But the WWE fans who queued up outside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome got a lot more than entry to The Grandest Stage of Them All.

In a party that only WWE and The Big Easy could pull off, the WWE Universe was entertained by acrobats on stilts, a rock band and the dance teams of both the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans. Add to that autograph sessions with Superstars Sheamus, Mark Henry and Rey Mysterio, Divas Kaitlyn and Alicia Fox and WWE Hall of Famers Mick Foley, Booker T and Jimmy Hart and you have the makings of the best party this side of Mardi Gras.

“I just think it’s awesome that [WrestleMania XXX] is in New Orleans, because it’s a never-ending party,” Kaitlyn told WWE.com. “It’s the one time of year that we really get to meet people from around the world. It’s a lot of fun.”

For The Crescent City — a community that has continually flourished in the years since the tragic events of 2005’s Hurricane Katrina — WrestleMania XXX is yet another sign that it is better than ever. The city hosted 2013’s Super Bowl XLVII, but even New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu had to admit that nothing compares to The Grandest Stage of Them All.

“You can’t hit the big time until you have WrestleMania,” he told the crowd.

This isn’t the first time the Superdome has presented sports-entertainment. The city’s most beloved Superstar, The Junkyard Dog, headlined the stadium on a regular basis in the late ’70s and early ’80s and WCW Nitro emanated from the arena when The New World Order was at the height of its popularity.

“I vividly remember how crazy it was then,” Booker T said. “I can only imagine what we’re going to see in the same venue when the greatest spectacle in sports-entertainment is here.”

Still, those events only played to a small portion of the stadium’s capacity. When WWE comes to town on April 6, 2014, more than 80,000 WWE fans will be rocking the home of the Saints. It’s a singular feeling WWE fans simply have to be a part of to truly experience.

“It is so great,” Jimmy Hart said. “I was part of [the inaugural] WrestleMania, but it just gets bigger and bigger ever year!”

Indeed, 30 years since Hulk Hogan teamed up with Mr. T to battle Roddy Piper & Paul Orndorff at the first Showcase of the Immortals, the stage will be set for what promises to be the biggest WrestleMania yet.

As Mayor Landrieu promised, “We’re going to show WWE the best city they have ever been to.”

Summer Rae, Sasha Banks & Charlotte: BFFs wronged by the system?

When Summer Rae first approached Sasha Banks about forming a partnership on WWE NXT, observers quickly assumed that she was simply using her influence to brainwash the young NXT Diva. Christening themselves The BFFs (Beautiful Fierce Females), Summer and Sasha have now added a third piece to their cunning connection: Charlotte.

“Charlotte fits what Sasha and I are trying to accomplish,” Summer told WWE.com. “She deserves to be the face of NXT, just as much as we do.”

Even though Fandango’s leggy dance partner has already earned the television “face time” and exposure that many Superstars and Divas can only dream of, Banks has been widely praised as the future of the Divas division during her NXT career. And now there’s Charlotte, one of NXT’s most athletic Divas and daughter to one of the greatest sports-entertainers of all-time, Ric Flair.

With so much positive momentum surrounding their individual careers, many in the NXT Universe are asking: Why the need to form this power pack of femininity?

Who is the next WWE Champion?

It's a conversation that every member of the WWE Universe has had with like-minded fans of sports-entertainment – and it's one that sometimes gets contentious. A seemingly simple question – Who's next? – can elicit so many different and equally passionate responses from a wide range of squared circle followers.

WWE.com's editorial team joins in on that debate, today wrangling with the question: Who's next in line to become WWE Champion? And ours is a very specific point of contention, as we are focusing only on Superstars who have never before claimed WWE Title glory.

WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. Big Show

The Authority’s settlement with Big Show may not have cost millions of dollars or control of the company, but it could very well put in jeopardy The Face of WWE. At the 27th Annual Survivor Series, the big anti-Authority who packs dynamite in his fist will challenge Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, a condition of the seven-footer’s very public out-of-court settlement with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

The championship bout comes after months of Big Show being subjected to humiliating power plays by The Authority. Fueled by pent-up rage, the keeper of the KO Punch undoubtedly relishes the opportunity to dismantle Triple H and Stephanie’s chosen one and reclaim the WWE Title in one fell swoop.

WWE’s fall classic has historically been very kind to The World’s Largest Athlete: Big Show, a six-time World Champion, began both of his WWE Title reigns at Survivor Series. In 1999, he defeated Triple H and The Rock in a Triple Threat Match to claim the WWE Championship for the first time, and three years later, he unseated Brock Lesnar for his second, and most recent, run with sports-entertainment’s most prestigious prize.

Yet, as reluctant as The Authority was to concede to Big Show’s terms, Triple H nonetheless appears confident in WWE’s Apex Predator’s ability to escape Survivor Series with the championship gold around his waist. Despite the controversial manner in which he won his eighth WWE Title, The Viper has looked rejuvenated and more vicious than ever since receiving Triple H’s endorsement months ago. As the WWE Universe knows all too well, when Orton taps into his dark side, there is hardly a more dangerous Superstar on the roster.

Outside the confines of a sanctioned bout, Big Show has leveled Orton with the KO Punch more than once in recent weeks, and each time, the WWE Champion went down for the count. Could history repeat itself on Nov. 24 when the super-heavyweight challenger squares off with the quintessential 21st century Superstar? Or will The Face of WWE prevail against the giant thorn in The Authority’s side and lay to rest any doubt that he deserves to be WWE Champion?

Find out when one of WWE’s most time-honored traditions, Survivor Series, returns to pay-per-view on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

The bitter history between Big Show and Triple H

The extreme tension between Big Show and Triple H isn’t just about what’s “best for business.” It’s not simply about The World’s Largest Athlete knocking out the WWE COO with his massive fist. It’s not about Triple H buying Big Show’s mortgage and evicting the giant from his home.

No, the rivalry between these two legendary Superstars goes further back in WWE history than most people realize. These two titans of the ring have been clashing for nearly 15 years. Broken bones, World Championships and personal pride have all played a part in the bitter battles between The Game and Big Show.

With the latest chapter in this rivalry resulting in Triple H banning Big Show from WWE for life, WWE.com felt it was time to dig a little deeper to find out why these two Superstars can never get along.
